SSDI Award Volume Lowest Since 2008
New nationwide data reveals SSA continues to make fewer favorable SSDI award decisions in recent months.
November SSDI award volume dropped to 61,055, the lowest total since December 2008, and down over 38 percent compared to the all-time high of 98,919 awards in March 2010. Nine of the past 13 months have now been below 70,000 favorable SSDI awards.
